I’ve been so lucky to be able to chill & travel so much this break. Went snowboarding twice, hung out a lot, and just came back from a Cali trip with cousins where my only job was to eat….A LOT!!
Also, I got hooked up and upgraded to a new Nikon D700. Then, sold my D80 to J-Pribb! :) I think I’ve been using a Cosina 24mm wide-angle for like the past 3 months, which has been awesome, but it was manual focus. So, I’m super glad to have my auto-focus Nikkor 50mm prime back. I was getting lazy =P
I really like to use just one lens for a period of time, since switching them is a hassle and it forces me to fully maximize that specific lens. So, here’s my last wide-angle shot for a while:

p.s. looking forward to shooting more of Larissa Dong and a sesh with Tyler Tang soon!
Seniors '10 | Larissa Dong
It was funny that during this shoot I was probably the most frustrated I’ve ever been. Even with a brand new Nikon D700 body and Larissa’s beautiful face to shoot, I felt like I couldn’t get the epic shots she deserved. Later, I came across this quote from one of my favorite automotive photogs:
“That’s what I always emphasize as a photographer. You shoot with what you have, whether it’s your experience, the circumstance, or the equipment. Do your best and you will have nothing to worry about.” - Steve Demmitt
Thanks, Larissa, for being supportive during the shoot! :)

Kreative Rodwerks - Morris Garage
Another quick sesh with KR! Man, they’re so versatile and work on so many different kinds of cars. They’re expanding my automotive horizons :) Word is this model was popular in its day and is now rare to see. Originally a British company, but they’re now owned by a Chinese firm. Those Chinese…..they wanna own / make everything! :P

Mikey & Valine
Mikey is sooooo dark, hahahah :) We were at Glendale Glitters @ Downtown Glendale.
I’m so excited for them!

(Above) Super blurry, but I like it anyway.
